Paphos District
Tropical Pool Oasis: a three-bedroom bungalow with its own pool, minutes on foot from Coral Bay's Blue Flag sand.
Coral Bay is where Paphos goes to the beach. Twenty minutes north of the harbour, this Blue Flag bay curves between two headlands in soft golden sand, with shallow, calm water that makes it the district's favourite for families. Behind the beach, the Coral Bay strip lines up tavernas, bakeries, ice-cream parlours and supermarkets — everything a self-catering holiday needs within a few hundred metres.
Tropical Pool Oasis is our three-bedroom bungalow a short walk from the bay. Single-storey living opens onto a private pool and a garden built for long lunches and barefoot evenings — no shared facilities, no schedules, just your own water from morning swim to night swim. The beach, the strip and quieter Corallia Beach next door are all reachable on foot, so the car can stay parked once you have arrived.
Book this Coral Bay villa direct with BluCove and you'll get our lowest rate with no platform fees, plus a local team who look after the pool, the garden and you. We're based in Paphos, fifteen minutes away — if anything needs attention, it's handled the same day, not ticketed to a call centre.
Coral Bay Beach has the Blue Flag, sunbeds and watersports; Corallia Beach next door is the quieter twin. Both are an easy walk from the bungalow.
The Coral Bay strip serves everything from charcoal-grilled souvla to fresh fish and full English breakfasts — a relaxed, family-friendly evening scene five minutes from your gate.
Carry on past Coral Bay and the wild side of Cyprus begins: the Sea Caves, St George at Pegeia and the Akamas Peninsula trails are all within fifteen minutes by car.
Bus 615 runs the coast road into Kato Paphos and the harbour every 15–20 minutes in season, and the drive into town takes about twenty minutes.
A short, flat walk — you can be on the sand in well under fifteen minutes without touching the car. Corallia Beach, the smaller and quieter cove just north, is a similar distance. Both have sunbeds and clear, shallow water; Coral Bay Beach holds Blue Flag status and adds watersports, lifeguards in season and beach bars.
It's arguably the best family base in the district. The bay's water is shallow and calm, the sand is soft, and the resort is flat enough for pushchairs. At the bungalow, the private pool means toddler-friendly swim times on your own terms, and three bedrooms give everyone space. The strip's tavernas are well used to children, high chairs and early dinners.
Not for daily life — beach, restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets are walkable, and bus 615 connects you to Paphos Harbour. A car earns its keep for day trips: the Sea Caves and St George at Pegeia are ten to fifteen minutes away, the Akamas and Lara Bay's turtle beaches a little beyond. Many guests hire one for two or three days mid-stay.
Yes — it's yours alone for the whole stay, set in the bungalow's own garden with no shared access. Outdoor pools in Paphos are generally comfortable from May through October; in high summer the water stays warm well into the evening. We have it professionally cleaned and checked between every stay.
About 30–35 minutes — the route skirts Paphos town and follows the coast road north. A taxi runs around €40–50, or we can arrange a fixed-price private transfer in advance so someone is waiting at arrivals. If you're hiring a car, collect it at the airport: parking at the bungalow is free and easy.
