Kato Paphos is the lower town — the strip of life between the archaeological park and the sea where everything worth walking to actually is. The harbour and its medieval castle anchor one end, the municipal baths and town beaches line the shore, and Poseidonos Avenue threads it all together with cafés, bakeries and tavernas. Stay here and you can leave the car keys on the hook for days at a time.
We have three apartments in Kato Paphos, all within a short stroll of the seafront. Harbour Central and Harbour Central II are stylish one-bedroom apartments moments from Poseidonos Avenue — ideal for couples who want the harbour, Bar Street and the morning bakery run on foot. Lighthouse Beach, our third one-bedroom, sits closer to the archaeological park and the quieter sands of Faros Beach below the lighthouse.
Book directly with BluCove and you'll pay no platform service fees, get our best nightly rate and have a local host one message away. We'll tell you which harbour tavernas are worth your evening, where to swim at the municipal baths and how to beat the crowds at the mosaics — the kind of detail a booking platform can't give you.
The municipal baths offer sheltered swimming in the centre, Alykes Beach sits by the hotel strip, and Faros Beach below the lighthouse rewards a fifteen-minute walk with space and sunsets.
Fresh fish by the castle, meze houses tucked behind Poseidonos Avenue and gelato on the promenade — Kato Paphos does evenings well, all within walking distance of your door.
The Paphos Archaeological Park and its famous Roman mosaics sit at the western edge of the lower town — go at opening time or late afternoon for soft light and thin crowds.
Bar Street runs from low-key cocktail bars to proper late nights, yet our apartments are positioned so you can join in — or sleep soundly and skip it entirely.
The municipal baths — small, sheltered swimming spots along the promenade — are the closest, around five to ten minutes on foot from all three apartments. Alykes Beach by the hotel strip is a fifteen-minute walk, and Faros Beach, the sandier stretch below the lighthouse, is about twenty minutes or a five-minute drive. For a full sandy day out, Coral Bay is twenty minutes by car or bus 615.
Yes — this is the one part of Paphos where a car is genuinely optional. The harbour, castle, archaeological park, beaches, supermarkets and dozens of restaurants are all walkable from our apartments, and buses from the harbour station reach Coral Bay, the Old Town and the airport. Many guests hire a car for just a day or two to see the Akamas and the Troodos.
No — they're close enough to walk to Bar Street in a few minutes but set on quieter streets, so you get the location without the 2 am soundtrack. Kato Paphos nightlife is concentrated on Agiou Antoniou Street itself; a couple of blocks away the evenings are calm. If you're a light sleeper, tell us when you book and we'll recommend the quietest of the three.
Around 15–20 minutes by road — it's roughly 12 km. A taxi from the rank costs about €25–35, and we can also arrange a private transfer that meets your flight, which most guests prefer for late arrivals. Self check-in means there's no waiting around for keys whatever time you land.
Our direct rate is always the best available — platforms add a guest service fee on top of what we charge. Direct bookings also come with more flexibility: easier date changes, faster answers, and requests like early check-in or extra linen handled by the team that actually manages the apartments. You'll be messaging the people who hold the keys, not a help desk.
